We specialise in: dyslexia, reading problems, attention deficit, specific learning difficulties, spelling, concentration or comprehension problems

All these fall into the areas which we have been treating successfully with tinted lenses.

Light tints or photochromic tints were often used to reduce headaches and visual stress at work. A patient who had tried both these approaches found a tint among theatre overlays to copy in her lenses, making her finally completely comfortable with print and the computer. Other cases followed and soon John Ovenden and John Cheetham had enough evidence to publish the Hoax or Help article in 1987.

The symptoms are:

Words on a page may fade, move, blur, jump, or simply cause discomfort.

The correct colour makes it easy to view the print and read the words; reading becomes more comfortable. An eye test, followed by a colour screening, will show if you can be helped by tints.

We can also assist headache and migraine sufferers
Up to 80% of people with these symptoms will find reading easier with a tint.
